What is your favorite New Testament verse?

I have many, but the first two that come to mind right now are 1 Corinthians 13:4-8 and 1 John 4:17.

Love is patient, love is kind and is not jealous; love does not brag and is not arrogant, does not act unbecomingly; it does not seek its own, is not provoked, does not take into account a wrong suffered, does not rejoice in unrighteousness, but rejoices with the truth;bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things.  Love never fails.

There is no fear in love; but perfect love casts out fear, because fear involves punishment, and the one who fears is not perfected in love.”

God is love.  The core of everything is love.  We are called to live a life of love.  We are commanded to speak the truth in love in everything we do.  We are often so afraid to love in this life because we’re afraid of getting hurt.  God tells us that true love is not linked to fear in any way.  It never fails and neither will He.
